Tommaso Iorio was born in Panzano, a small town situated atop a hill in the Chianti region of Tuscany. Famous for its enchanting vineyards, scenic castles, and lush green hills, Chianti is located between Florence and Siena, at the very heart of the Italian renaissance.
Growing up in his nonna’s kitchen, the flames of Tommaso’s love affair with food were kindled by the ancient traditions of Tuscan cuisine. Taking fresh, organic fruits and vegetables from the garden, his nonna fleshed out the nuanced flavors of simple ingredients in rustic, Italian dishes.
Tommaso currently resides in Los Angeles, with his wife Deana, their daughter
Fiore and their dogs Grigio & Nutella.
Together, they launched Tuscany at Home, where they offer clients a truly immersive Tuscan dining experience from the comfort of their own homes. Guests watch Tommaso as he prepares food in a traditional Tuscan grill setting, exchanging anecdotes by the fire and sipping sun-kissed wine from the hills of Chianti.
